Community Day Events
Directly after the 3rd generation began being rolled out into Pokemon GO, the concept of monthly community day events was announced for the hit mobile game. Community Day Event are monthly promotions that will take place in Pokemon GO, where, during specific times of on a specific day each month (depending on the region you are in), you will be able to hunt for a special Pokemon (as well as receive other benefits such as double Stardust). Community Day Event Pokemon are extremely rare because they usually have an Event Only Move and can only be found on one day each month. What the Pokemon will be each month and the moves it will have changes on a monthly basis; it all is done at Niantic's discretion.
