Battle Showdown Event Kicks Off In Pokemon GO

The Battle Showdown 2018 Event has now begun in Pokemon GO! This event will last until May 14th, and it sees Fighting Type Pokemon spawning at an increased rate. In addition to this, players will also receive double the amount of XP from both challenging Gyms and Raid Battles. Players will also receive a guarantee 3000 Stardust and Rare Candies from Raid Battles, as well as double points from each and every action performed at a Gym. On top of all of this, special boxes will be on sale during this time in the Shop, and Zapdos has now begun its rotation as the next Research Breakthrough Reward.
